If you find yourself having issues with NFL Rivals, here are a few steps we recommend doing to your Android device.
Ensure App is Up to Date
Sometimes apps do not auto update on their own, we recommend making sure that your app is up to date.
Force Close the App
If you find yourself having issues with the app itself, you may need to force close the app and relaunch it. To force close the app on your Android device:
- Go to "Settings" and locate "Applications" then to "Manage Applications"
- Select the app and tap "Force stop"
- Return to the Home screen and re-launch the game app
Check Your Network Connection
After ensuring that the app may not be the issue, your network connection could be the result of why the app isn’t properly working. For details on how to check your network connection, please refer to our “Android Network Connection” article.
Uninstall and Reinstall the App
To know that the app isn’t the root of the problem, we recommend uninstalling NFL Rivals and reinstall the app. For steps on how to uninstall and reinstall the app:
- Go to "Settings" and locate "Applications" then to "Manage Applications"
- Select NFL Rivals and select "Uninstall"
- Head to this link and re-install the app.
- Open the app
- Sign back into the game by using your same sign-in details
Restart Your Device
When you have determined the app is up-to-date and your connection is stable, you may need to restart your device. For steps on how to restart your device:
- Press and hold the device’s power button (usually on the top or right side of the device) for 1 to 2 seconds until the power options menu appears, then release the power button.
- Select the Restart or Power off option on the menu.
- Depending on your device, it may take up to a minute to restart back to its main screen.
- If you have a passcode or a fingerprint scan enabled on your device, you will be asked to enter this information upon restarting your device.
Device is Up to Date
Another step you can take after restarting your device is also making sure the device is up to date with the latest version available. To check if there is a system update available:
- Open your device's Settings app.
- Go to "System" then "Advanced" (or "About Phone") and finally "System update"
