If you run into an error with the app where your screen stops responding or the app crashes, here are some quick steps you can take to troubleshoot.
Force close the app
For iPhone X and later
To force close the app, swipe from the bottom of your screen upwards and let go when you hit the middle of your screen, where you will then see images of all apps running in the background. Then, swipe up on the image of the app itself, and the image will disappear and be replaced with the last app used. Now you can tap at the bottom or below the images and go back to your home screen to try to open the app again.
For iPhone SE, 8, and earlier
To force close the app, double click on the home button, where you will then see images of all apps running in the background. Restart your device
For iPhone X and later
To restart your iPhone, press and hold the side button on the right and either volume button until your screen prompts you to turn off the device. After you drag the slider over and your screen goes black, wait 20-30 seconds before powering it back on using the side button.
For iPhone SE, 8, and earlier

Check that the app is up to date
To verify that the app is up to date, navigate to the Test Flight app on your device. Once it’s opened, you can check the version number at the top under the game icon. If you scroll down, you will see a toggle switch which will enable automatic updates and the app will make sure NFL Rivals will stay up to date.
Check that iOS is up to date
To verify that you have the most current iOS version, navigate to the Settings app on your device. Once it’s opened, scroll down and tap General, then tap the Software Update section. If there’s release notes with the button Download and Install below, you will need to tap said button to install the most recent version.
Please note that this will first download the update, then restart your phone. If your iPhone does not have enough power, it may prompt you to plug the device into power before it can be installed.
Uninstall and reinstall the app
To uninstall the app, find the app on your home screen and tap and hold the icon until a menu pops up. At the bottom, you will see the option for Remove App. Tap that option, and then tap Delete App to confirm this. Once it’s been deleted, you can navigate to the Test Flight to find NFL Rivals, and click the install button to re-download it.
